If you’re not already following @the.pewpew.barbie on Instagram, let’s fix that real quick because this woman is the definition of powerful, poised, & unapologetically badass.
Born & raised in the wild beauty of Colorado, she’s been deep in the heart of Texas for the past 28 years, & let’s just say Texas suits her just fine. A lifelong tomboy, her dad made sure she knew how to fish, shoot, ride horses, & hold her own with the boys. And she still does.
By day, she’s a project coordinator at a digital media company (yes, she works from home, jealous?), & for over two decades, she was a full-time massage therapist. She still gets her hands in the game on weekends because, well, healing is in her blood. But don’t let the calm exterior fool you, she’s got a fire behind those eyes & a drive that doesn’t clock out.
Her morning routine: Wake up, release the dogs, chickens, & ducks (yes, plural), feed everyone, & take a walk. After a day at her desk, she hits the gym & wraps it all up by tucking the animals in. Sound serene until range day hits, which is every two weeks, minimum. That’s where the “peaceful but dangerous” mindset comes out to play.
Five years ago, after a split from her ex, she realized she had to be her own protector. No one was coming to save her. So she picked up a firearm, got a trainer, & never looked back. What started as a need turned into a passion. Now she’s a vocal advocate for self-defense, firearm or not. Every woman should be able to defend herself. Period.
So why Guts & Grit?
Simple. “I connected with the designs. They’re strong. They say something. I wear them to the range, around town, everywhere.” But the one that hits hardest is Act Peaceful, Be Dangerous. Because she lives that message. As she puts it:
“If you’re not prepared, you’re a victim. Jordan Peterson said it best, “You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you’re capable of great violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless.”
Let that sink in.
At Guts & Grit, we don’t just make shirts, we make statements. Bold ones. And people like Bobbi remind us why we do what we do. Our community isn’t here to blend in. We’re here to stand strong, live loud, & back it up with action.
So yeah… if you’re into soft tees, strong women, & messages that pack heat, you’re in the right place. Welcome to the real ones.
